One of the UK?s biggest ever rock bands, Status Quo, is to play live in Gibraltar. The group will take to the stage in the outdoor car park at Ocean Village at 7pm on 10th September to help celebrate?Gibraltar's annual National Day.
Status Quo have recorded over 60 UK chart hits, including Rockin? All Over The World, Down Down and Whatever You Want ? more than any other rock group in history. A whopping 22 of these have reached the top ten!
The band will be performing both old and new hits and are to be supported by local band, Natura who last year?opened for?legendary men of rock, Deep Purple, in Estepona. In 2007, they also supported Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel along with Marbella indie band, Sammy?s Escape.
