The picturesque mountain village of Mijas recently attracted crowds from all over the globe as it hosted its second International Blues Festival.
The event kicked off on Friday 12th June with a relaxed jam session in the grounds of the luxurious Mijas Hotel. Then on Saturday, the musicians took to the stage at an open-air auditorium situated near the bullring for an unforgettable concert which ended on Sunday evening.??
Acts included Big Joe Louis and his Blues Kings, West Weston?s Bluesonics, Peaches Staten, Mud Morganfield plus many more. Like the previous two years, 2009?s festival was a huge success and the organisers, which include Mijas Town Hall and London blues club, Ain?t Nothin? But, hope that
next year will prove just as popular.
