From July 4th the Hipodromo racecourse at Mijas will once again welcome a wealth of punters as the start of the new season kicks off.
This will include a total of 30 races with the final and most important race being held on Friday August 7th when as much as 20,400 Euros in prize money will be up for grabs.
Municipal firm Recursos Turisticos Mijas aim to promote the racecourse as a fun day out for all the family as well as encourage the breeding and riding of Spanish horses.??
Visitors can now look forward to guided tours of the Hipodromo, entertainment such as flamenco dancing, vintage car displays, art and sculpture exhibitions and a variety of children?s activities.
Plus those who fancy a bite to eat can now enjoy dining in the newly expanded restaurant or the relaxed atmosphere of the terrace.
