Michelle Obama puts Marbella firmly on the Map

Shopping, sightseeing, and relaxing by the pool or at the beach just like any other mum and her daughter on holiday.  Only, Michelle Obama, America´s First Lady, does it with around 68 secret service agents and her entourage has apparently taken 60 rooms in a luxury hotel!  Mrs. Obama and nine year old Sasha are here in Marbella for a private five day visit before heading off to visit King Juan Carlos and Queen Sophia.  All this media attention can only be positive for Spain as a whole as images of the Obamas on holiday are flashed around the world.  Spain, and especially the Costa del Sol, has been associated with sleaze and corruption for too long and Mrs. Obama´s visit is seen as an endorsement that the region has cleaned up its act and this is a fantastic place to spend your holiday.
